Aims
The aim of this course is two fold. Firstly to be competent to complete the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) assessment tool. Secondly, to understand how to implement cost effective practical ergonomic solutions in the workplace.

The Quick Exposure Check is an easy to use tool to assess the level of exposure to musculoskeletal disorder risk factors when performing a task
Course Objectives
On completion of the programme delegates will:

Have an understanding of the term ergonomics and the implications of good ergonomics design in the workplace

Understand what causes musculoskeletal injury in the workplace

Be able to complete a QEC assessment

Know how to implement cost effective practical solutions to reduce ergonomic risk factors at work

Know basic design principles that can be applied to the workplace to reduce the risk of injury
Assessment and Certification
On successful completion of the course the delegates will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
