Aims
The course will update and refresh your knowledge of the First aid at work syllabus, whilst allowing time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for your final assessment.
Duration – 3 hours
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 state that employers are required to provide adequate personnel, training, equipment and facilities to render First Aid to their employees should they become injured or taken ill at work. Worksafe deliver First Aid Training courses in association with NUCO Training. NUCO is the largest provider of First Aid Training courses in the United Kingdom. This is a basic three hour course for individuals who wish to gain an insight into emergency procedures and attain a certificate of attendance
Course Objectives
At the end of the course delegates will have covered a range of subjects including:
- Introduction – The First Aider
- Arriving at the Scene
- Action at an Emergency
- Primary Assessment
- Principles of Resuscitation
Assessment and Certification
On successful completion of the course delegates will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
