TRAINING RESOURCES
WorkSafe has developed a training pack, which is a comprehensive resource file, to support the delivery of theory and practical training in your area. This pack can only be used by those who have successfully completed both awards and have the Train the Trainer qualification accredited by Edexcel.
The pack comprises:
• CDRom with power point slides and speaker notes for the theory presentation.
• A Guide to Techniques: This includes photographs and comprehensive instructions for practical handling techniques.
• A paper system to keep accurate training records of all sessions delivered.
The pack will be licensed to your company for two years from date of purchase and is updated by WorkSafe every 2 years (or more, if there is a significant change in legislation, practice etc.) to ensure that it is up to date and reflects current best practice.

We recommend that the Manual Handling Trainers are also updated every two years, so that they understand any pack changes or change in legislation and practice.
