This course is available nationwide, all courses can be delivered on the client’s site or trainers can register to join one of our scheduled open courses held at Worksafe Head Office, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
We can train up to 8 delegates per course with a ratio of 1:8.

The 3 Hour Moving and Handling of People & Equipment REFRESHER
Designed to UPDATE delegates who are already working as carer’s to become competent and confident while completing manual handling tasks.
The 1 Day Moving and Handling of People & Equipment for NEW STARTERS
For delegates NEW to care work, to inform and train them to become competent and confident while completing manual handling tasks.
Assessment
Support, assessment and feedback is given at regular intervals during the course. Delegates will need to be able to perform all moving and handling tasks safely for the practical assessment scenarios.

Who should attend?
The course is designed for clinical staff who work in hospitals, (wards and theatres), the community, nursing and care homes and with the emergency services. If you do not have a clinical background please contact us to discuss if this course will be suitable for you to attend.
Certification
On successful completion of the course the trainers will be given a certificate of attendance.
