We understand that every Ambulance Trust is different, that’s why, prior to any training, we will visit you to ensure we have an expert understanding of the types of transfers and equipment used that are specific to that Trust.

We also aim to gain an understanding of any specific handling issues that may be present. Using job-specific scenarios, we listen to delegates moving and handling problems and make training relevant to their job roles.

Worksafe’s moving and handling training is evidence based with a focus on risk assessment, equipment use and patient safety. Employees will also understand how to manage and prevent musculoskeletal injury in the future.

We use a problem solving approach to ensure paramedics can solve moving and handling problems in any number of environments they work.
