Director
Rus is a Director at Worksafe, and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors. Rus has more than 10 years experience using evidence based ergonomics practice to help organisations manage and prevent musculoskeletal disorders.
Previous to working as a Chartered Ergonomist, Rus worked in a clinic rehabilitating patients who had suffered a work related injury. The clinic focused on using a biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitate patients with chronic low back, neck and upper limb pain.
Rus is a guest lecturer on ergonomics for the MSc Occupational Health degree at the University of Birmingham.
As you can see Rus loves ergonomics. He usually can’t wait for holidays, so he can read more ergonomics books. “The Biomechanics of Back Pain” was evidently outstanding. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, particularly using an exercise bike as he can sit and read ergonomics articles and be active at the same time.
